Project 5 Task 1

Have you ever wondered how kids are learning today to keep up with the demands of the 21st century learning? Blogging in schools is becoming a powerful tool to allow students to be creative and innovative with their ideas, while collaborating with peers and others in a diverse technology world. Blogging allows students to post their own creative ideas and receive comments from classmates, teachers and the global tech world that decides to read their post pending privacy settings. Teachers can setup a blog to allow it for classroom use only or it can be public. Blogging is a wonderful tool to help students collaborate on a project or share a writing piece. It gives students a voice to express their ideas and invent new ones. A blog can also be used as a means to pose questions or current events. Students could have a virtual portfolio of their work through a blog. Blogging has been said to improve student writing skills. The possibilities with blogging in education are endless and a great way to help students get their ideas heard and published in this digital age.
